Trends, consumer trends, and the future of retail
Gain an eye-opening insight into some of the biggest trends—and get the key to how you can use them to strengthen and future-proof your business.
Let's do this!!
The talk that puts the spotlight on what the retail industry is today—and what it is no longer… And what that means for the individual store.
An eye-opening talk that creates reflection and motivation to do something. We open our eyes to the importance of community, who holds the responsibility, and the opportunities it creates.
A talk designed to send participants home with a deep sense of agency, motivation, and the energy to do something. Now.
Everyday data – the secret tool for a stronger business
Talks that open participants’ eyes to how, in a simple and manageable way, they can find, create, and use their own data to develop, among other things, the store as a sales platform—and strengthen the customer experience, sales, assortment, and marketing.
We demystify the concept of “data” and bring it down to eye level—and show that getting started requires neither advanced systems nor special prerequisites.
When you start recording, collecting, and using that knowledge systematically, even small observations can become powerful insights that make it easier to develop the business and future-proof it in a time of enormous change.
Participants go home with a fresh perspective on their own business—and a range of very concrete ideas for how they can start working with data as early as the next day.
Community that strengthens the city and the store
Stories that make a difference
How small (and large) businesses use their stories to create visibility, relationships, engagement, and relevance.
The talk focuses on both the company’s own core story and the shared local story—and how these two levels can work together and strengthen both visibility and business.
We work on identifying what makes each store or business clear and relevant—and on how community and a shared direction in a town or an industry can be a strategic strength rather than merely a pleasant side activity.
Participants receive inspiring examples and concrete ideas for how storytelling can be used actively and intentionally—in the store, in communication, and in collaboration with others.
Relevant and interesting talk for stores, retail chains, marketing departments, boards, peer groups, trade associations and city centre associations, etc.
Recommended as a mini-workshop of approx. 2.5 hours.
Industry hacks: Inspiration that strengthens your business
To find inspiration in places other than the usual.
And to look at other industries—to get the ideas that truly move the needle.
An intense and hyper-inspiring talk where we dive into 5 cases from completely different industries that are doing some truly smart things.
Leave brimming with bucketloads of inspiration and concrete input to develop and future-proof your business.
Strategic visual merchandising
The talk is based on the tool The Strategic Retail Matrix™ which works strategically, systematically, and practically to optimise and develop the store to function as a well-oiled sales platform.
It is a eye-opening new perspective with plenty of concrete, inspiring examples.
Relevant and interesting talk for stores, retail chains, marketing departments, boards, peer groups, trade associations and city centre associations, etc.
Talk on store design
The store is not merely a place where products are displayed, but an experience creator that can influence customers’ behaviour and decisions.
Store design is not only about aesthetics, but about creating a holistic experience that appeals to and engages customers.
It is an art to find the right balance between functionality, aesthetics, efficiency, and sales.
Research-based customer psychology – emotional customer types
An eye-opening talk about customers’ emotional purchase triggers—and how to use them.
When we use the four emotional customer types, we draw on, among other things, recognised research, knowledge and insights from more than 5,000 cases (including German, Danish, and English), and a solid theoretical foundation and a range of recognised personality analysis tools.
Based on this, we map which emotional response systems are at play in your customer’s purchasing and decision-making process.
When you know which customer type you are selling to, you can work systematically and purposefully to create the right conditions for your customers’ specific purchase triggers.
Areas where you will typically use the insights:
Social media, newsletters, Live Sales, events, ads, copy, graphics, interior design, signage, products/services, flowers, colours, graphics, images, visual identity, logos, staff recruitment, etc.
Using the customer types as the basis for the above is relevant and effective for all types of businesses.
Stine Grubbe is a certified and examined expert in emotional customer types at the Institute for Customer Types, and is among Denmark’s most experienced speakers and instructors on emotional customer types.
The talk can also be structured as a mini-workshop, a full-day workshop, or a training programme.
